Our Ministries

We meet from 9-10:00 A.M. each Sunday prior to our worship service for Sunday School. There are a number of different classes to choose from, and the topics of instruction change regularly. Currently, the classes are as follows:

Pastor Lars Larson is teaching on Revelation.
Pastor Jason Austin is teaching on the Westminster Shorter Catechism.
Dale Wheeler is teaching on Basics of the Christian Faith.

Vida Farrar meets with the ladies for a Bible Study on Monday evenings at 7:00 P.M. and Wednesday mornings at 10:00 A.M.  If you would like to contact her, you may email her at: [email protected]

An enriching time to learn the Bible in all its doctrine as we work through The Baptist Confession of Faith in 1689. We meet from 7:30-9:00 A.M.

Jason Austin meets for home studies on Thursday and Friday evenings at 7:00 P.M.  If you would like to contact him, you may email him at: [email protected]

We provide free food and clothing to anyone in the area who has need. We hold this event at the church every 2nd Saturday of each month from 9:00-11:00 A.M. There is no need to call in advance.

We maintain a well-stocked Christian library in our fellowship hall and we also have a “book table” from which selected titles of Christian reformed literature are available at different costs.

We currently broadcast "The Word of Truth" radio program Monday through Friday on four different radio stations:

Pastor Lars Larson's Sunday morning sermons are broadcast throughout the local community: Leominster, Fitchburg, Gardner, Ayer, Townsend, Ashburnham Westminster, Lancaster, Clinton, Bolton, and Sterling.

First Baptist Church currently supports a variety of missions throughout the world that are aligned with sound reformed Biblical theology.

Pastor Lars Larson makes regular home visits. He also offers Biblical counseling. Call us if he may help you.
