Our Church Mission 
The mission of First Baptist church in Leominster is to glorify the God of the scriptures [1] in promoting His worship [2], evangelizing sinners [3], instructing and edifying the saints [4], in planting and strengthening churches [5], and showing benevolence to the needy [6]. We are committed to the proclamation of God’s perfect Law and the glorious Gospel of His grace to all the world [7] and to the defense of “the faith once delivered unto the saints” [8].
The primary means for the accomplishment of this purpose are prayer and the public and private ministry of the Word of God [9].
We acknowledge no ecclesiastical authority other than our Lord Jesus Christ, who is Head of the Church [10]. Recognizing Jesus Christ as our head, our congregation seeks to ascertain and obey His will in all matters of faith and practice [11]. We hold that the final authority and responsibility to determine God’s will is vested in the gathered membership of the church.
